In large-scale scrapped and dismantled car centers, a large number of seats are generated every day. Due to the hassle and time-consuming nature of dismantling, as well as the large amount of leather covers and sponges that cannot be processed, dismantling centers are unwilling to dismantle seats and can only use a large number of used seats for sale. In the recycling and dismantling of car seats, the dismantled scrap iron can be sold for 3200 yuan/ton, the scrap sponge for 500 yuan/ton, the scrap wire and circuit board for 5000 yuan/ton, and the scrap plastic (PPA material) for about 4000 yuan/ton. The various waste materials (leather covers and cloth strips) generated from discarded seats can only be treated as garbage, accounting for only 10%, while the remaining 90% can be sold as waste materials.
